| 1981 - our 5th annual Wheaten picnic. Special friends in Regina for the May Dog Show were Bonnie Lage from Fargo, ND, Jan Linscheid (Finnigan Wheatens) from Enderlin, ND and Diane Lunde (Merrimeton Wheatens) from Brookings, SD. |

1979 - first show in Saskatchewan following CKC recognition on May 1st. Jan Linscheid's "Bruiser" (Am.Can. Ch.Finnigan's Andecker Andy) went 4th in Group. Bruiser was our BJ's sire. |

1977 - the 1st annual Wheaten picnic was held in Saskatoon. Special guest was Anne Goodsell (Gariann Wheatens) from BC.Anne was visiting the Foxes so she and Alan could work on the breed standard and other requirements for recognition. |

| 1975 - the beginnings. Gunther Appl and Alan Fox along with Radar, Pampootie, Benji and Skeeter enjoying some prairie sunshine and discussing "where do we go from here?" | 1975 - the Appl's Pampootie (Butterglow's Blithe Spirit) gave birth to Saskatchewan's first litter of Wheatens on February 13 in Saskatoon. Benji and Skeeter are in the crowd! |
